Synopsis: |
There was a little boy who loved his father very much and a father who loved
his little boy very much. They would go for walks beside the sea and share their
dreams. One evening when the wind was whispering secrets to the tall green grasses
on the beach and the sun was a giant flaming orange sphere melting into the glassy sea.
The little boy took his shoes off. A wave came close and snatched the
little boy’s shoes away. They traveled all over the world through a calm
emerald lagoon, a stormy sea with lightning, to a moonlit beach and to the northern lights.
Many animals found the shoes, an octopus, a family of dolphins, a walrus, polar bear cubs and a whale family. They
try them on, but not one time do they fit. Then one day there was a father who
loved his little boy very much and a little boy who loved his father very much. They
would go for long walks beside the sea, like his father did with him when he was small.
A wave came close and set the shoes on the beach. The little boy tried
them on and they fit.

The book needs to be marketed
as a picture book along the lines of “Time for Bed” by Mem Fox. A
later, smaller version could have a “Sea Shoes” necklace attached to the front of the book. The second and third book in this series could be marketed the same way.
